UltraSense showcased at Graphene Week 2026 in Porto
UltraSense was represented at Graphene Week 2026 in Porto, Portugal, where consortium partner Graphenea promoted the project and engaged with researchers, industry leaders and technology innovators from across the graphene community.

Held in Porto from 21-25 September 2026, Graphene Week 2026 brought together experts from academia and industry to showcase the latest advances in graphene and other two-dimensional (2D) materials, fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange across the European innovation ecosystem.
As an exhibitor at the event, Graphenea hosted a booth throughout the conference, where visitors had the opportunity to learn more about the company’s activities and ongoing European projects, including UltraSense.
The exhibition area provided an excellent platform to engage with members of the international graphene community and exchange ideas with researchers, technology developers and industrial stakeholders.
Throughout the week, Graphenea showcased the project’s vision and objectives, raising awareness of UltraSense and its contribution to the development of next-generation sensing technologies based on advanced materials.
The event further strengthened the project’s visibility within a highly relevant audience spanning both academia and industry.

In addition to Graphenea’s presence in the exhibition area, Amaia Zurutuza contributed to the conference programme, sharing insights from Graphenea’s work and highlighting recent developments in the graphene sector. Her participations further reinforced Graphenea’s active role within the international graphene community.

By participating in Graphene Week 2026, UltraSense gained visibility within one of the most important international gatherings dedicated to graphene and 2D materials, helping strengthen connections with researchers, technology developers and industrial actors across Europe.
The UltraSense consortium thanks Graphenea for representing the project at Graphene Week 2026 and supporting its dissemination activities within the wider graphene and advanced materials ecosystem.
