UltraSense @ Graphene Week 2024

A delegation from the UltraSense consortium attended the #GrapheneWeek2024

Organised by Graphene Flagship in Prague from October 14-18, the hashtag#GrapheneWeek is Europe’s premier conference on hashtag#graphene and hashtag#2DMaterials.

Supported by the European Commission, the event brought together over 500 international experts to discuss cutting-edge research, innovation, and technology. Among the notable speakers were our Project Coordinator, Ioanna Zergioti from the National Technical University of Athens, who led the session on “Functional 2DMs,” and Amaia Rebollo from Graphenea, who presented on “Opportunities in Graphene-based Biosensors.” AMIRES participated as part of the Next-2Digits project, which was showcased in the “Production in Collaboration with Next2Digits” session.

Congratulations to the organisers, volunteers, speakers, and delegates for providing high-quality data and thought-provoking panel discussions.

We look forward to leveraging these insights to support the recommendations and methodology to promote the uptake of UltraSense.

UltraSense is a Horizon Europe project funded by the European Commission and supported by the European Health and Digital Executive Agency (HaDEA). It aims to develop and test graphene field-effect transistors for a cutting-edge wearable platform. This platform will integrate three distinct sensing technologies—ultrasound, bioimpedance electrodes, and sweat sensors—within a Polar Electro Oy-engineered chest strap.
