Ultrasense at the World Congress on Biosensors 2025

During the conference, representatives from two Ultrasense partners delivered oral communications presenting research activities carried out within the project, with a focus on the development of graphene‑based wearable biosensor technologies. These contributions highlighted different scientific and technological aspects of Ultrasense, reflecting the multidisciplinary nature of the project and its progress in wearable and flexible biosensing.

The oral presentations provided an opportunity to share ongoing research with the international biosensors community, engage in scientific discussion, and exchange perspectives on current challenges and future directions in the design, fabrication and application of wearable biosensors.

In addition to the oral contributions, Ultrasense was presented through a project poster entitled: “Ultrasound Combined with Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis and Graphene Field Effect Transistor‑Enhanced Wearable Sensing for Decentralised Health‑Monitoring“. This provided a consolidated overview of the project’s objectives, technical approach and ongoing developments by facilitating direct interaction with conference participants and enabled in‑depth discussions with researchers and stakeholders working in related areas.

Poster Presentation of Ultrasense Project

Participation in Biosensors 2025 strengthened the dissemination of Ultrasense research outcomes, reinforced collaboration opportunities and increased the project’s visibility within a highly relevant scientific community working at the intersection of biosensing, materials science and health applications.
