Ultrasense at SPIE Photonics West (US) and SPIE Photonics Europe in 2026

In January 2026, Ultrasense participation at SPIE Photonics West (San Francisco, US) provided an opportunity to showcase the project’s advanced laser processing methodologies, with a particular focus on Laser‑Induced Forward Transfer (LIFT) techniques for flexible biosensor technologies. The event brought together a global photonics community, enabling high‑level technical exchange, visibility of project innovations and valuable networking with international stakeholders.

Beyond visibility, participation at SPIE Photonics West enabled direct interaction with researchers, technology developers and industry representatives working across photonics, laser processing and advanced manufacturing. These exchanges supported knowledge transfer and opened opportunities for future collaboration in the field of flexible and wearable biosensing.

More recently, in April 2026, Ultrasense took part in SPIE Photonics Europe (Strasbourg, France), continuing its engagement with the European photonics community and reinforcing the project’s presence across both transatlantic and European research ecosystems.

The event provided a platform to share ongoing research developments and connect with European stakeholders active in photonics‑enabled health and sensing technologies.
